300-300 Standard busbar work-centre

The standard SML busbar work-centre comprises the following:-

Mobile bench 700mm x 1000mm on 200mm wheels. The latest model now has a hinged extension of 500mm which is very useful for marking out. The extension may be folded down for transportation.

On the bottom section is an electro-hydraulic power pack rated at 700 bar, 0.43 litres/min, 220 volts, 50Hz, 1 phase with foot controls.

On the top section is a 3-way directional valve to select the function. i.e. punching, cutting or bending

The work surface is stainless steel

The punching machine has a throat depth of 65mm with a capacity for 12mm copper bar. Maximum hole diameter is 21mm. There is a range of round and elongated dies available but at an additional price. Also, there is a selection of pressure plates to enable the machine to be used for punching flexible (Laminated) bar.

The cutting machine is suitable for copper up to 125mm x 12mm. The stainless steel surface has a millimetre scale to show the distance from the end of the bar to the cutting point

The bending machine is suitable for copper up to 150mm x 10mm with a maximum capacity of 1200mm2. This machine is mounted through the bench on an adjustable platform so that the copper bar sits on the bench top and the machine is moved up or down to get the copper central. The stainless steel surface has a millimetre scale to show the distance from the end of the bar to the centre of the bend. Minimum distance between 'U' bends is 50mm. Minimum distance between 'Z' bends is 40mm. Standard bending radius is 10mm.
